The EPM Series Cartridges by Pentair Pentek are a modified version of the EP Series Cartridge. These cartridges offer an economical solution for taste, odor, chlorine taste & odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration. They are manufactured using a special process that results in a cartridge with a nominal 10 filtration rating, high porosity, and effective chlorine taste & odor reduction.

The high porosity design of these cartridges prevents them from plugging before their adsorption capability is fully utilized. This maximizes the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a low pressure drop. To further extend the useful life of the cartridge, it is protected by an outer wrap that traps sediment, which is known to plug carbon block cartridges.

These cartridges can fit in all 10" Big Blue Housings, other 10" heavy duty housings, and can replace any 10" x 4.5" carbon water filter cartridge. They have also been tested and certified by NSF INTERNATIONAL to ensure your peace of mind.

With a capacity of 15,000 gallons, these cartridges should be replaced every 3-6 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality. This ensures that you continue to enjoy clean and fresh-tasting water.
