Pentair CBR2-10R Carbon Water Filter Cartridge, 10-Inch, Under Sink, 0.5 Micron

The CBR2 Series Cartridges from Pentair Pentek are advanced multi-media cartridges that aim to reduce chlorine taste and odor as well as other contaminants in water. These cartridges are specifically designed with a powdered activated carbon (PAC) that has an adsorbent media. To enhance the lifespan of the cartridge by preventing sediment build-up, they are protected by a specially formulated polyolefin bilaminate prefilter.

Both the CBR2-10 and CBR2-10R cartridges effectively reduce chlorine taste and odor, along with other contaminants, just like our standard Pentek CBC Series Carbon Block cartridges. The CBR2-10R cartridge also includes a built-in flow restrictor, allowing for maximum contact time. This premium cartridge offers high-capacity chlorine taste and odor reduction.

It is compatible with all 10" standard housings and can replace any 10" x 2.5" carbon water filter cartridge. The unique formulation of the polyolefin bilaminate prefilter significantly extends the useful life of the cartridge.

To ensure quality and reliability, the CBR2 Series Cartridges have been tested and certified by NSF International to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 42. This certification provides peace of mind knowing that the cartridge meets industry standards for performance and safety.

With a capacity of 20,000 gallons, it is recommended to replace the cartridge annually or when there is a noticeable change in water pressure or quality. This ensures consistent and effective filtration throughout its lifespan.
