Pentair 158008 Traditional Slim Line Filter Housing, 3/8 NPT #10 Clear Water Filter Housing, 10-Inch

The Pentair Pentek Slim Line Filter Housings are available in 5", 10", and 20" lengths, and can be made of either reinforced polypropylene or clear Styrene-Acrylonitrile (SAN) materials. The housing caps are either black or blue reinforced polypropylene and come with 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" NPT connections. Each cap has four bosses molded into it for easy mounting. The caps are equipped with a black, reinforced polypropylene cap and also have the option of a pressure-relief button on the inlet side. This button helps to relieve pressure inside the housing when changing filter cartridges.

The opaque Slim Line Filter Housings are made of rugged reinforced polypropylene and offer excellent chemical compatibility. They are perfect for use in various low-flow applications, including residential filtration under the sink or on the countertop, pre- and post-reverse osmosis filtration, recreational vehicle filtration, foodservice, and humidifying systems.

On the other hand, the clear Slim Line Filter Housings allow for on-site examination of flow, cartridge life, and performance. They are suitable for a wide range of applications.
