This cutting-edge technology utilizes a cellulose-free synthetic fiber matrix to attach powdered activated carbon, resulting in a one-of-a-kind filter media. By combining the advantages of a sediment filter and a carbon block in a single cartridge, our Fibredyne carbon block technology delivers superior chlorine taste and odor reduction, as well as increased dirt-holding capacity compared to traditional blocks.

To ensure premium filtration performance, the Fibredyne technology incorporates a unique post-filtration layer that fuses with the carbon/fiber media blend, preventing the release of fines into the effluent stream. Moreover, our Pentek Fibredyne CFB-30 water filters are constructed solely from FDA-compliant materials, making them perfectly suitable for numerous applications including residential, food service, commercial, and industrial settings.

However, it is important to note that the Pentek Fibredyne CFB-30 water filter should not be used with water that is either microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality, unless proper disinfection measures are taken before or after the filtration system.

Notably, the Chlorine Capacity of the CFB-30 water filter exceeds 15,000 gallons when operating at a flow rate of 3 gallons per minute (GPM). Additionally, the Nominal Micron Rating of this water filter stands at 10 Micron.
