The Pentair Pentek EPM Series Cartridges are a modified version of our EP Series Cartridge, offering an economical solution for taste, odor, chlorine taste, and odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration. With a nominal 10 filtration rating, these cartridges are manufactured using a process that ensures high porosity and chlorine taste and odor reduction.

By utilizing a high porosity design, the EPM Series Cartridges prevent plugging before their adsorption capability is fully exhausted. This maximizes the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a low pressure drop. Additionally, these cartridges are protected by an outer wrap that traps sediment, increasing their useful life and preventing them from becoming clogged like carbon block cartridges.

The EPM Series Cartridges are suitable for use in all standard and slim line housings that fit 10" cartridges. They can easily replace any 10" x 2.5" carbon water filter cartridge. Rest assured, they have been tested and certified by NSF International for your peace of mind.

Each cartridge has a capacity of 3,000 gallons and should be replaced every three months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed. This ensures that you always have clean and fresh-tasting water.
