Pentair GAC-20BB Big Blue Carbon Water Filter, 20 x 4.5

Pentair Pentek GAC Series Cartridges offer effective reduction of unwanted tastes and odors, such as chlorine taste & odor, in your drinking water. Designed for maximum contact between water and carbon, these cartridges ensure optimal adsorption. Water enters at one end and passes through the entire length of the carbon bed before exiting at the other end, with an internal expansion pad minimizing channeling or bypass. A post-filter reduces carbon fines and other suspended particles from the filtered water before it exits the cartridge. The post-filter is permanently fastened to an innovative support basket, ensuring a secure seal and eliminating the potential for bypass. Available in various sizes and flow rates, GAC Series Cartridges effectively provide good general-purpose drinking water filtration.

These cartridges fit all 20" Pentair Pentek Big Blue or other 20" heavy-duty housings, and can replace any 20" x 4.5" carbon filter cartridge. The post-filter helps reduce carbon fines and other suspended particles from the filtered water. They are NSF International tested and certified for peace of mind. With a capacity of 25,000 gallons, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every six months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed.
