The Pentair Pentek Big Clear Filter Housings are designed to meet all your large-capacity filtration needs, whether it be for high-flow or heavy-sediment applications. With their extra large housing, these filter housings offer greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. You can choose between 10" and 20" lengths for the sumps. Additionally, the caps come with 1" NPT inlet and outlet ports, while the internal port measures 1-1/2", allowing a greater volume of liquid to pass through the cap more rapidly. These Big Clear Filter Housings allow for on-site examination of flow, performance, and cartridge life, making them ideal for a variety of applications. The 1" polypropylene caps are available with a pressure-relief button on the inlet side, making cartridge replacement easier by relieving pressure inside the housing. The caps are constructed of reinforced polypropylene, ensuring durability. The 10" sumps are made of Lexan, while the 20" sumps are made of SAN (Styrene acrylonitrile). These heavy duty filter housings are perfect for large-capacity, high flow applications. The clear sump housing allows for easy examination of flow, cartridge life, and performance. They also come with a pressure relief button, making cartridge replacement a breeze.
